Experience you can't shortcut.

Since 1996 I've built and run technology service companies - including a twenty-three-year run as Vice President of Connections for Business, a managed services firm, where I learned that the hard part of technology is almost never the technology.

Today I split my time across a handful of companies I believe in: as Chief Evangelist at Resplendent Data, helping businesses turn the systems they already own into answers; as President of ConnectSMART; and in operations leadership at CharTec, where service providers from across the country come to learn how a real business runs from the inside.

Owners and executives bring me their hardest operational questions about scaling service delivery, making data useful, leveraging AI, and often their people problems. I've been in the trenches and know what it feels like to not get a paycheck in order to pay your staff, not a consultant.
